This course will give you a hands on way to find out about Engineering. Students will learn how the math and the design of everyday items are applied together. Students will learn about the applied math and application on principles of mechanisms, machines and mechanical advantage, control systems, materials applications and uses, and projectile analysis. Students will apply this through hands-on projects. Some of the projects will be creating sample machines, programming electro mechanical systems and PLC (Programmable Logic Controls), and building scale models to test theory. Students awareness of how engineering and all the aspects of the course are related in daily life is also highlighted.
Are you interested in Automation on, Robotics and 3-D Printing? Computer Integrated Manufacturing gives you the opportunity to learn this problem based activities using technology such as Robotics, Computer Numerical Control Machining, 3-D printing, and integrated manufacturing systems. If you are taking a career in Mechanical Engineering, or in any aspect of Advanced Manufacturing, you should take this course. In addition to technical concepts, the course incorporates finance, ethics, and engineering design. This reflects an integrated approach that leading manufacturers have adopted to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
